Questions people ask before they visit Sri Lanka
Do I need a visa to visit Sri Lanka?
Most nationalities need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) before arrival. You apply online, and it is usually approved within a day. Apply only through the official gov.lk site, because look-alike sites charge extra. Check the current rule for your passport before you book.
What is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?
It depends on the coast. The west and south coasts, including Bentota, Galle and Mirissa, are best from December to March. For the east coast, including Trincomalee and Arugam Bay, May to September is best. The hill country and the Cultural Triangle are fairly good all year.
How many days do I need?
Seven to ten days lets you see the Cultural Triangle, the hill country and a stretch of beach without rushing. With three to five days, choose one or two regions. We build the route around the days you have.
Can I change a tour, or is it a fixed package?
Every tour we run is private, so every package is a starting point. Tell us your dates, interests and pace, and we adjust the route and send you a new price.
Can you collect me from the airport?
Yes. We meet guests at Bandaranaike International Airport at any time of day, and your driver waits in arrivals. You can book the transfer on its own or as the start of a full tour.
